| This Morgan Dana Harrington situation has got me all riled up. For those of you living under a rock, here's what we know, and some of the things that don't make any sense to me at all. 1. She went to a Metallica concert on October 17, 2009, at UVa, with her 2 friends. Some pre-gaming was probably involved, since she's a college student going to a party school to see a band she really loves. I also think it's important to note that they took HER car. I'm not sure if she was the driver though...I don't see why she wouldn't be, but I don't want to make too many assumptions here. 2. At some point (I believe before Metallica even began performing), she left the arena for some odd reason. Not sure why, as there's at least a bathroom and maybe a smoking area that one can access WITHOUT leaving the arena. Since she's apparently a fan of Metallica, I do not see why she would leave before they even started performing. I went to an Evanescence concert once and wouldn't even leave to pee, even when Finger Eleven was still playing (and they kind of sucked). It just seems weird that someone who is such a big fan of Metallica would leave like that. And I'm assuming she was a big fan because she drove from Virginia Tech to UVA just to see them. Also, there are apparently signs all over JPJ arena clearly telling people the consequences of leaving. Why wouldn't she notice these signs? What was so compelling that she had to leave? 3. Based on the JPJ arena's re-entry policy, she wasn't allowed to get back into the arena. Sources say that she went from happy-drunk to angry-drunk (which is understandable if you can't go see the show you drove hours just to see). But why didn't the people who denied her re-entry realize that she was drunk and kind of in no state to get anywhere by herself? Shouldn't they have told her to call a cab? I'm not sure what the underage drinking policy at UVA is, but wouldn't they have done something about her being drunk out in public, especially if she was kicking people (one source says she kicked at least one person)? 4. She called her friends and said she'd find a ride home with Charlottesville friends, which I think should have struck the friends as weird. None of these 3 girls go to UVA, so where on earth is she going to go??? Also, her car is the one that got them there. Were the car keys in HER purse? If they were, why would she get a ride home from someone else? If the keys weren't in her purse, why NOT? Why didn't the friends bring the ticket stub out to her? Why didn't they say, "Hold on, what do you mean, how are you leaving us? Where are you going?" Why didn't they come out to get her? Why didn't they leave with her? 5. She was last seen on a bridge trying to hitchhike. This doesn't make sense. She told her friends that she was going to find a ride with Charlottesville friends. Why, then, is she HITCHHIKING in the middle of the night (worst idea ever)? Did she lie to her friends about having people to take her home? Why didn't her friends know which UVA friends Morgan was referring to? 6. She wasn't seen again after that. Here's where I go crazy. There was "no sign of a struggle." How much struggling is someone going to do if there is a knife/gun discreetly held up to you, especially if this person was drunk/high? It is entirely possible that there is no sign of a struggle while she was in the threatening situation. 7. What happened with her friends? Did they even try to call her after the show was over? Were they able to get home (if Morgan did in fact have the keys)? Why did they wait 16 hours to report her missing? Why didn't Morgan's dad know about her disappearance until after she was due to be at home with him? These so-called friends know more than they're letting on. I hope they're at least talking to the cops if not the media. 8. One more point of interest. Morgan herself. A lot of the reports I've read online include interviews with people whose first impressions of Morgan was "She shouldn't be dressed like that." Who's to say that she was dressed "provacatively;" all I know is that many questioned the way she was dressed. And also, this picture of Morgan. Is it a mugshot or something? It looks like one. If it is, why? Drug problems? This could be another clue. Or I'm just reading too much into an ugly picture.
Anyway, I would just really like to know more about this case (wouldn't we all)?

| My Predictions: Hogwarts will re-open. Harry, Ron, and Hermione will attend Hogwarts for Year 7, but they won't take N.E.W.T.s. Ron and Hermione will become Head Boy and Head Girl. Harry will NOT teach DADA in the future. Aberforth Dumbledore will be the new DADA teacher in Year 7. Harry's scar is NOT a Horcrux. Nagini, Hufflepuff's cup, Slytherin's locket (the locket that no one could open that was at Grimmauld Place) are all Horcruxes. Harry will keep his Horcrux quest secret from the Order. R.A.B.= Regulus A. Black. R.A.B. has already destroyed the locket Horcrux. At the end of HBP, Voldemort does not know that R.A.B. took the locket, nor does he know that Harry is searching for the rest of them. Dumbledore is really dead. On top of the "Lightening Struck Tower," Dumbledore was asking Snape to kill him. Dumbledore gave Snape the position of DADA teacher in HBP because he knew that Snape would be leaving at the end of the year. Dumbledore will communicate with Harry through his portrait. One of the Dursleys will start to use magic (I'm thinking Dudley). Petunia will intentionally give Harry vital information before he leaves Privet Drive. Ron and Hermione will be a couple. Duh. Harry and Ginny will get back together. Sybill Trelawney might make another real prophecy. Harry will use the two-way mirror that Sirius gave him. There was someone else at the Potter's house (other than James, Lily, Harry and Voldemort) on Oct. 31, 1981, the night the Potters were murdered. We will learn more about Lily and Snape's relationship. Draco will abandon the Death Eaters Snape is truly loyal to Dumbledore/The Order. Harry, Ron, Ginny, Luna, and Hermione will survive. Neville will die. Hagrid will survive. Remus and Tonks will survive. Either Molly, Arthur, or both will die. Fred & George will survive. Bill and Fleur will survive. Percy will survive. Voldemort and Snape will die. Peter Pettigrew will die. Lucius, Narcissa, and Draco Malfoy will all die. Harry will become an Auror. The final word in Deathly Hallows will be "scar." | | |
